Trent doesn’t know what to make of the strange man but he does know he can’t seem to stay away despite what he’s promised himself. He knows how a man has to act to to maintain authority and respect in his world, but as the whirlwind comes back time and time again to take Maxton away, Trent finds himself fighting to keep him no matter what the cost.
Jackie has created a realistic and beautiful time for these men to grow in. The plot is engaging and sucks you in for the duration. I recommend the entire series.
